In order to meet required NFPA code, your fire detection system should be inspected each year. Regular maintenance, inspection and testing of fire protection systems are essential to ensure the proper system function.
Integrated Electronics offers an all-inclusive Test & Inspection Program that evaluates your system to make sure it meets NFPA requirements as well as federal and state standards. Our experienced technicians are EST fire-alarm certified and factory-trained in sprinkler tests and range-hood/extinguisher fire-system inspections.
The T & I Program includes:
- 24-hour, 365-day-a-year alarm-system monitoring
- Quarterly sprinkler test and inspection
- Annual test, inspection and cleaning of fire-alarm system
- Semi-annual range-hood fire-system inspection
- Annual fire-extinguisher service and inspection
We test for proper function of all manual pull stations; horns/strobes; smoke/heat detectors; and all zones for alarm and trouble annunciation as well as wire supervision. We evaluate the fire control panel to ensure proper switch-over to battery operation when AC power is removed. Calibration and adjustment of system control equipment will be performed if necessary. Thorough documentation confirms all points tested and the results.
